For the past 80 years, SASAKI PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS Co., Ltd. has dedicated it’s focus on “Improving the overall welfare of our patients”. We started a business in the Northeastern capital city of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan in 1937, the Showa generation. Thereafter we established a second branch in Akita and then another in Hirosaki. We also have production capabilities in six prefectures of the Tohoku region.
Participate in various seminars with the support of our staff, on the production of an artificial limb, we aim to improve technical study and harness ways to adapt Quality of Life (QoL) improvement of our patient’s health.

Over the years we have tackled the obstacle of walking with artificial limb harness a welfare tool for our elderly patients. Recently we introduced artificial limb harness CAD/CAM system in the Tohoku office, which emphasized the highest product adapted to the body. We continue our traditional methods of socket adaptation while carefully integrating modern technological advancements in the industry.
In 2011, when the Tohoku earthquake brought unprecedented disaster and tragedy to the region, we still see affected parts of the region, there is still work to be done.
